Current director Richard Dawson founded Allens Chartered Accountants in 1973 and, in over 30 years of business, we have prided ourselves on delivering outstanding levels of client service.

The directors of Allens are Richard Dawson, Paul Horrocks, Philip Leah, Simon Leigh, Philip Collier and Ben Furness.

We now have over 40 people and have achieved our Millennium target of doubling in size within five years.

We have a team of people in our Accounts and Audit department, managed by Paul Horrocks and Andy Robertson. In this area, we have a number of Chartered and Certified Accountants and operate an intensive training programme that supports our younger team members through their studies for exam success. The training programme is designed to ensure that all of our recruits follow defined processes and provides an excellent grounding for them as they grow their knowledge and experience.

We have a dedicated Tax Department that is managed by Lynne Vickers. Lynne and her team deal with all of your personal tax issues including completing and submitting tax returns and P11D’s. Lynne’s team work closely with our clients to ensure that returns are submitted within defined HM Revenue & Customs timescales, avoiding unwanted penalties.

We also have a team of administrative people, managed by Pam Dawson, which looks after reception, deals with many daily business issues and ensures that your telephone calls are answered quickly and efficiently.
